I join Series A or B organizations and build high-performance, high-growth companies, often at the invitation of board members who have seen my work in other companies.  I take organizations from one size to the next and usually through to exit. I know strategy and I know people–and I blend the strategy skills learned in Michael Porter’s consulting organization with my understanding of organizational behavior to set winning strategy. I create the organizational culture and behaviors to achieve results. I do what I love.

Part of the early team in several young companies, I’m proud to have grown all of them to spin-out, liquidity, or integration before becoming a high-growth consultant in 2017 and helping many more. I have played COO, People Officer, Product Officer, and interim CEO roles. I excel at strategic planning, fundraising, and execution–establishing multi-location operations, penetrating new markets, and managing successful product launches to drive expansion and ultimately profitability.

At the heart of my professional philosophy lie two core tenets: people and strategy. Drawing on this dual focus, and my multi-faceted experience building new business capabilities, I accelerate growing companies while balancing the blend of innovation and stability they need to succeed.

I am located in the Boston area and travel to San Francisco frequently.  I am a Founder and Principal at Kaleidocent™, a strategic management consulting and training company focused on high-growth companies.  In my work, I help executives and entrepreneurs in the following ways:

  • Executive coaching to improve performance and results.

  • Strategic planning, market positioning, change management, and goal planning support.

  • Acting as an advisor or embedded executive to improve general operations, often building new capabilities and hiring teams to grow them over time.

I am also a partner in New Fashioned™, where my background in organizational behavior and organizational development is put to good use developing award-winning cultures and creating the human capital foundations necessary for high-growth companies to attract, retain, and develop talent into high-performance teams.
